Enjoy a sip and solve a murder Saturday and Nov. 12 aboard the V&T train in Virginia City
The Virginia & Truckee Railroad hosts a new murder mystery wine train event on Saturday, Nov. 5 and again Nov. 12, departing at 5pm from the original historic 1870 depot in Virginia City, NV. Enjoy a beverage and light snack while you guess "who done it" with the "Fun Time Players."
Wine and murder on the V&T is based on the iconic Hollywood film "The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean" starring Paul Newman and Ava Garder.
The Old West drama is about the most famous actress of her day, Lilly Langtry, also known as "Jersey Lil". Our heritage diesel powered train will feature the Jersey Lil, the heavyweight train car used in the movie.
All tickets are $52 and are available online at virginiatruckee.com. Reservations are highly recommended. The trip takes a little over an hour.
All trains will be thoroughly sanitized. Free parking is available. The original 1870 Virginia Truckee Railroad depot is located at 166 F Street in Virginia City, Nevada. 775-847-0380.
