September casino gaming revenue down in Carson City, up 6.8 percent statewide
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,059,291,018 for the month of September 2019. This amounts to a 6.83 increase compared to September 2018.
For the fiscal year, July 1, 2019 through September 30, 2019, gaming win has increased 4.68 percent, according to figures by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and other areas of Douglas County except for south shore Tahoe showed gaming revenue of $9,784,439 for September.
South Shore casinos at Lake Tahoe reported its "gaming win" revenue of $18,190,173. North Shore casinos were up 0.97 percent with gaming revenue of $2,574,153.
Casinos in Reno and Sparks also saw declines in gaming revenue for the month, compared to September 2018. Reno was down 4.24 percent and Sparks, 2.82 percent.
