Meanwhile, a Winter Storm Warning remains for the greater Lake Tahoe area until 11 p.m. Monday. Snow showers are expected to continue along the Sierra Crest into this evening. Additional snow accumulations of up to two inches are possible.

Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions through tonight with wet roads refreezing. Also, fog may develop in some locations around the Tahoe Basin and along Interstate 80 near Truckee tonight. See NVRoads.com for the latest travel information.

Douglas County officials have announced that construction will begin soon on the first phase of the Muller Parkway Project.
