Call for artists, crafters: Vendors sought for Carson Valley holiday shopping, ag education and history event
Agriculture and art meet to showcase the region’s artisans and ag students from 4-H, The Grange and FFA showing their animals, roping demonstrations, animal exhibits, antique farm implements, food and beverages, and a hay auction to benefit local 4-H and FFA programs. The event draws families who want to do a little holiday shopping before the Parade of Lights.
This year’s special guest is chef and author Charlie Abowd, who will be signing copies of his new book, Recipes and Rambles That Made Adele's a Nevada Hot Spot: Forty Years of Cuisine and History as Told by Chef Charlie Abowd (America Through Time).
