Early voting begins Saturday in Nevada; locations and hours for Carson City, Douglas, Lyon and more announced
Mid term elections are coming up quickly, with the first day to begin early voting scheduled for this Saturday, Oct. 22.
While election day itself will take place as usual on Nov. 8, early voting will take place from Oct. 22 until Nov. 4.

In Carson City, the early voting location is the Carson City Community Center located at 851 E. William St., within the gymnasium.
This will also be the location to drop off mail-in ballots if you choose not to use the post, along with the front counter of the County Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
If you’d like to early vote in person, you can do so Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Douglas County
Minden: Historic Courthouse, 1616 8th St.; a tent is also set up in the rear parking lot for drop off ballots. Vote Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Gardnerville: Douglas County Community Center, 1329 Waterloo Ln. Vote Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lyon County
Dayton: Dayton Utilities Meeting Room, 34 Lakes Blvd. Vote Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Yerington: 27 S. Main St. Vote 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fernley: City Hall, 595 Silver Lace Blvd. Vote 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Storey County
Virginia City: Courthouse Slammer, 26 S. B Street. Vote Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lockwood: Storey County Fire Station no. 4, 431 Canyon Way. Vote Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
