Nevada Builders Foundation hosts Nevada Day breakfast buffet with Metcalf Builders
The Nevada Builders Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Nevada Builders Alliance, is hosting its annual Nevada Day breakfast buffet with support from Metcalf. Dubbed ‘Nevada Day the Metcalf Way,’ the breakfast will be held at Red’s Old 395 Grill in Carson City on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The Nevada Builders Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focusing its efforts on providing opportunities for careers in the construction industry.

“Every year we get to celebrate our great state with the community, and we think starting the day with coffee, pancakes, bacon and more from Red’s is the perfect way to kick off Nevada Day,” said Tiandra Rushing, board chair for the Nevada Builders Foundation. “Our annual breakfast buffet is the Foundation’s biggest fundraiser which aids our effort of getting more people into the trades. We’re grateful for the support of organizations like Metcalf and look forward to another record-breaking year.”
The Foundation will kick-off its Nevada Day celebrations by hosting its 23rd annual pre-parade breakfast buffet at Red’s Old 395 Grill. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door; however, due to popularity, it is encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Each year the breakfast offers a buffet of pancakes, eggs, bacon and more, plus plenty of hot chocolate and coffee to start Nevada Day with a meal from a local favorite. Red’s famous Bloody Mary’s and mimosas will also be available for purchase.
