Who Led the Pack? Carson City K9 inaugural regional competition and demo held Saturday
The areas first regional K9 event was held this last Saturday at Fuji Park in Carson City and brought in 28 K9 teams from eight different law enforcement agencies throughout Northern Nevada. Those dog teams competed in four events, including drug detection, explosive detection, agility, and suspect apprehension; all primary specialties of our four-legged partners.
Providing a competitive edge to the event also allowed for agencies to intermingle, share ideas, and learn from one another. We hope you all enjoyed the show as well, and we appreciate the immense support the Carson City community, along with our neighboring agencies, continues to give to these incredible K9 partners.
Winners in each event are listed below, along with a handful of snapshots from the event, and you can bet we’ll be back again next year!
