Carson City suspects in Oregon homicide to appear in Klamath County court Monday
Two Carson City men accused of first degree murder in the September killing of an Oregon man have been extradited to Klamath County and will go before a judge on Monday.
Suspects, 21-year-old Kyle Joseph Steele and Tevin R. Lafond, also 21, were booked into the Klamath County Jail on Oct. 13 for suspicion of murder, first-degree assault, unlawful use for a weapon and vehicle theft.
On Sept. 18, Steele surrendered to Carson City Sheriff's Office, while Lafond was taken into custody by the Lyon County Sheriff's Office.
The homicide happened in Chiloquin, Oregon, north of Klamath Falls. Shot dead was Arnie Lee Eggsman, 32, of Chiloquin.
The two will appear in court Monday, Oct. 23.
