Carson City arrests: Man found with credit cards, IDs that were not his
A 26-year-old man was arrested Thursday for possession of credit cards without consent of the owners and other alleged offenses, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
Sage Conley was taken into custody at 8:30 a.m., following an investigation. He was also booked for suspicion of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the booking report, deputies responded to a residence where the suspect, Conley, was passed out in the front seat of a vehicle in front of the residence.
Deputies arrived and observed a glass pipe in the center console of the truck. The man was detained. Officers located several items of drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and numerous prescription medications in bottles that were not prescribed to him.
Also located were several credit cards with other people's names along with identifications. He was arrested. Total bail amount listed: $8,500.
In other arrests:
— A 23-year-old Silver Springs woman was arrested Thursday for suspicion of domestic battery and parole and probation violation.
According to the booking report, deputies were dispatched to a residence regarding a domestic dispute. Deputies arrived and spoke with the victim who had injuries to his face and was bleeding from his nose and mouth. He explained his girlfriend attacked him and started beating his face. He couldn't tell the officer her last name but could provide a phone number.
While taking pictures of the scene, a deputy noticed a black backpack on the kitchen counter, which was identified as the suspect's backpack. The deputy removed a red wallet from the backpack and found the suspect's Nevada driver's license inside.
A deputy was able to make contact with the woman, who was visibly crying and upset. She explained that she and her boyfriend had been in a fight and that she "beat his ass." The deputy checked the woman for injuries.
She had red knuckles from allegedly hitting the man and had blood stains on her shirt sleeves, pants legs and the back of her ankle. Based on the statements from both she and the victim, the woman was arrested for suspicion of domestic battery. Bail: $3,137.
— A 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday for a misdemeanor violation of court conditions. The man was at a residence in which he was ordered by the court not to be in. Bail: $3,137.
— A 61-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued Oct. 10, 2023 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $250.
