Off Our Rockers to jam Saturday at A to Zen with the Baby Boomer Band for Carson City animal shelter
This year the Brewery Arts Center's Off Our Rockers with the Baby Boomer Band has been performing early rock n' roll songs all around the Carson City area.
The group is led by Jimmy Rossi and consists of 30 singers and 6 band members, all of which are senior citizens. The Rockers donate 100 percent of their earnings to the Nevada Humane Society (Carson City Animal Shelter).
This Saturday evening, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15, the Rockers, along with some of Jimmy's other musician friends will be putting on a benefit concert at A to Zen.
There is no entrance fee, but all donations will be accepted and appreciated. Once again, 100 percent of the income earned from the evening's donations will go to the Carson City Animal Shelter.
Mark the date on your calendars and come out to support our BAC Rockers, and of course our animal friends. Jimmy says, "It's going to a great concert!"
