Carson City man arrested at brothel following road rage incident
A 41-year-old Carson City man was jailed Wednesday night on a charge of misdemeanor reckless driving after allegedly tailgating a motorist, throwing an empty plastic soda bottle at them and then hitting the right front panel of the vehicle.
The suspect was found at a Mound House brothel and taken into custody. According to the arrested report, officers were dispatched to the area of Highway 50 East and Fairview for a report of a road rage incident. It was reported that a green car with Nevada plates had thrown a soda bottle at a vehicle and was following them.
Officers made contact with witnesses inside the vehicle who reported the incident, saying they were approaching Airport Road on Highway 50 East when a green car pulled up along side of them and a male driver pulled down his window and yelled something at them, throwing the plastic soda bottle at them.
The witnesses said they sped up past the Fairview light and continued east, and said they kept heading east and the green car started to tailgate them and sped up like he was going to hit them. The witness said that as they continued east toward Lyon County the green car kept turning his lights on and off and swerving into their lane like he was going to hit them, the report states.
The driver of the victim vehicle then hit the emergency brake and the green car that was next to them hit the front of their car. The victim car that was tailgated returned to their residence and called dispatch. The suspect vehicle fled the scene.
Deputies looking for the green vehicle learned that two Lyon County deputies were out with the suspected vehicle that had crashed into a ditch with the driver gone. Another person on the scene said he had given the driver of the green vehicle a ride to the Mound House brothel.
Officers arrived at the brothel and made contact with the suspect, who was asked to meet with them in the front reception area. The man instead attempted to walk back inside. Officers took the man's arms and escorted him outside.
Once outside the suspect became aggressive with officers saying they were lucky they got him into handcuffs because he was about to kill them, the arrest report states. The man then said that he would have killed two of the officers and left the other two alive to tell the story, the report states. Arresting deputies noted the man kept talking about lasers and how he would kill them because magic made him invisible and he could hide his face, the report states. Bail: $622.
