Carson City Rotarians meeting Tuesday features deputy attorney for state's Bureau of Consumer Protection
Raquel Fulghum, Senior Deputy Attorney General with the Nevada Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, will be the guest speaker at the next Rotary Club of Carson City meeting happening Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Fulghum practices in the areas of deceptive trade, utilities, and antitrust matters. Fulghum will discuss the most recent general rate case where her office advocated against NV Energy's proposed increase to the basic service charge from $16.50 to $45.30.
The public is invited to attend the meeting which takes place Tuesday, Oct. 1, at noon, in the Brewery Arts Center’s Grand Ballroom, 449 West King Street, Carson City. Anyone interested should email carsoncitynvrotary@gmail.com
