August statewide gaming revenue down while Carson City, Tahoe and Reno see increase
Casinos in Carson City, including those in Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except for Stateline at Lake Tahoe saw casino revenue amounting to $9,650,518 for the month.
Meanwhile, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming establishments reported a 7.44 percent decrease in gaming revenue, also called “gaming win” in August.
At south shore Lake Tahoe, which includes casinos at Stateline, gaming revenue saw a 4.74 percent increase compared to August 2017. North shore Tahoe casinos saw a 3.16 percent increase. Casinos in Reno and Sparks also saw positive gaming revenue generation for the month, with Reno coming in with a 7.27 percent increase and Sparks, 5.32.
