Carson City Board of Supervisor’s Approves Tentative Maps for three new subdivisions
At the Carson City Board of Supervisor’s meeting Thursday, Sept. 19, the Board voted to accept tentative maps for three new subdivisions.
The subdivisions are to be placed in the Schulz Ranch neighborhood, the second off Little Lane, and the third on E. Roland Street.
The Schulz Ranch subdivision map would create 29 single family lots within the Schulz Ranch Specific Plan Area. The applicant proposed to subdivide 7.94 acres into 29 single family lots with an average lot size of 9,465 square feet.
The board voted to pass the motion to accept the tentative map unanimously.
After a lengthy discussion regarding prospective parking situations at the Little Lane subdivision plan, this map was also accepted. The Little Lane subdivision, to be called “Little Lane Village,” is to be built west of South Saliman Road on the north side of Little Lane. The proposed plan sets out to subdivide a 21.48 acre parcel into 149 single family residential lots, with an average lot size of 3,183 square feet.
With parking conditions to be added and reviewed, the board voted to accept the tentative map.
Lastly, a subdivision known as “Silver Crest Condominiums” was accepted, which is to be built at the property located on 150 E. Roland Street. This subdivision would create 51 condominium units consisting of 17 three-ply buildings.
The board voted to accept the tentative map after a discussion regarding proper spacing so as to not impact waste removal.
