Local author starts his journey of change

Local author Lee Kennedy launches his Faith, Family and Freedom book tour live on The Bill Manders Show 780 KOH on Friday September 24th at 5pm and at Borders Books at 911 Topsy Lane in Carson City on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 from 11am-1pm. Lee will be speaking and signing copies of his newest book “Faith, Family & Freedom...A Journey of Change”. Authorhouse Publishing ISBN #9781438908151 June 2010

Up for a “2010 National Best Books” award, this book is the first volume in a series of books that reintroduce the importance of Faith, Family and Freedom in our lives and our society today. It examines society’s role in the deterioration of these three values and how a celebrity culture has slowly chipped away at their importance. Anyone who comes to the event will receive a free Faith Family and Freedom Pledge wristband. This band reminds the reader how important Faith Family and Freedom are and challenges the reader to live their lives by these values everyday.

The 46-year-old author explains:
“Through struggles in my own life I have discovered that Faith, Family and Freedom compose the foundation for a quality of life that many of us strive to achieve. Where faith gives us courage, family gives us reason and freedom gives us the ability to achieve everything we’ve ever dreamed of. Yet most of us choose to live lives of mediocrity, consistently taking for granted the three things that would ultimately give us the greatest satisfaction in our lives today. I am on a mission to bring Faith, Family and Freedom back to the forefront of our society”

Faith Family and Freedom brings the reader through a journey where the reader is challenged to rededicate their lives to faith, family, and freedom. Through Lee Kennedy's transformational and inspirational true stories the reader will discover how a strong belief in faith, family, and freedom can simplify the sometimes-chaotic world that we live in. It will allow the reader to compartmentalize all of the areas of their life so that they may have better control of it.

Kennedy says:

“When you regain control of your life, you can start living the life you have always envisioned…a life that you truly deserve. All great journeys start with just one step, and this one is no different. Please take that first step with me today and begin your journey of rediscovering the things that make life extraordinary.”

Faith, Family and Freedom: A Journey of Change is now available nationwide at all major bookstores and online.
