Carson City emergency crews called to airport after pilot experiences difficult landing
Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Tuesday afternoon to the Carson City Airport for a report of airplane that experienced difficulty while landing.
The call came into dispatch at around 12:44 p.m. from the Federal Aviation Administration, reporting that a pilot of an experimental plane had experienced a bad landing on the south side of the airport.
The Carson City Airport manager spoke with dispatch, who reported there were not any injuries associated with the landing and that the aircraft was upright.
The Carson City Sheriff's Office is investigating.
