2nd Annual Dayton Valley Days Cornhole Tournament Benefitting Dayton Chamber Sept. 16
On Saturday, Sept. 16 the second annual Dayton Valley Days Cornhole Tournament returns, with proceeds supporting the Dayton Chamber.
"This is a very fun day, with great people, lots of different food, refreshments and crafters all available in historic Old Town Dayton," organizers said.
Sign in is at 9 a.m. and bags will fly at 10 a.m. Please pre-register on the free Scoreholio app.
The tournament takes place adjacent to the historic Odeon Saloon on Tyler Street. Bring your own partner, bags, chairs, and water; extra bags will be available.
All skills are welcome, and the tournament is run by Sierra Nevada Cornhole.
If there are enough teams, the tournament will be divided into two brackets: advanced and backyard.
Three round-robin games will be played to determine seating in a double elimination bracket with at least five games guaranteed.
The cost is $50 per team which you pay at sign in. Funds will paid out to winners in three places, with 80 percent returning back to players, and 10 percent to the Dayton Chamber of Commerce.
