Job fair happening this Friday at the Carson City Community Center
More than 40 employers are expected to participate at a job fair happening this Friday, Sept. 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center inside the large gym. The fair will open at 11 a.m. for veterans and disabled individuals.
Hosted by Carson City Health and Human Services, Community Action Partnership and the Carson City Chamber of Commerce, employers in attendance will represent the following industries: gaming, home health, manufacturing, retail, security, staffing agencies, utility companies and more.
Job seekers should bring an updated résumé, dress to impress, and be prepared to fill out applications, according to a Carson City news release.
