Clinical Liaison, RN Tina Estay to discuss 'health care options as we age' at Carson City Rotary meeting
If you are in your golden years or caring for someone who is, you’ll want to join the Rotary Club of Carson City at its next weekly meeting. The meeting takes place Tuesday, September 7, at noon in the Brewery Arts Center’s grand Ballroom.
Tina Estay, RN and Clinical Liaison with Kindred Home Health, will be the featured speaker and will discuss health care options as we age. “I love to help others find resources and understand the choices they can make to better improve their health, and get the best care”, Estay said. “Medicare, insurance and the requirements needed to get the right care can be daunting, I want to help with that.”
Estay graduated from UNR and has been a nurse in the Reno/Carson City area for over 30 years. In her current role with Kindred Home Health, she is a clinical liaison working with physicians, hospitals, rehab facilities, long term acute care facilities, independent and assisted living facilities.
Rotarian Joy Hefner, who also works with seniors, says it’s important to understand your options. “Making the right healthcare decisions for you and your family is extremely important. Knowledge about your healthcare options can actually save lives.”
