Carson City emergency personnel respond to stabbing victim on East William Street
UPDATE SUNDAY, 9:10AM: A man who was stabbed Saturday evening and sustained a moderate to serious knife wound was flown to the trauma ward at a Reno hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. He is expected to live. It is unknown at this time if he remains in the hospital. No arrests have been made and no charges have been filed, said Carson City Sheriff's Office Sgt. Nate Brehm. The matter remains under investigation.

UPDATE: 7:57PM: Carson City Sheriff's deputies made contact at about 7:40 p.m. in the 1800 block of East Long Street with a suspect connected to the stabbing.
The location of the stabbing is still being treated as an active crime scene.

One person suffered a stab wound in front of the 99-cent store off East William Street at around 6:50 p.m. Saturday, emergency dispatch said.
Carson City Fire and Rescue as well as Carson City Sheriff's deputies have responded to the incident.
According to first responders on scene, the victim suffered a stab wound to the chest and is unable to speak.
Care Flight has been called to meet the ambulance at the Carson City Airport.
