Nevada Humane Society Carson City’s Pet of the Week: Nora
Nevada Humane Society, Carson City branch pet of the week is Nora, a charming feline with a heart full of love and paws ready to play.
This confident and friendly kitty is as versatile as they come — enjoying both the warmth of indoor comfort and the excitement of outdoor adventures.
Nora does come with some unique needs that require a certain home. She’s not a fan of other cats or dogs, so she'd thrive in a home where she can be pampered in solitude. Nora also has renal disease, which means she'll need regular vet visits and a kidney-specific diet to stay healthy and happy.
Here's what Nora has to say:
“Hi, I'm Nora, a cat with a balanced personality — quiet yet talkative. I know when to meow for attention or when it's time for my next meal and I adore some me-time. I'm calm and affectionate, making me a great companion. But I may not be the cuddliest until I've made myself at home. My playful spirit shines when I chase toys, and I love to play hide and seek. My favorite activities include sunbathing, playing with toys, and spending quality time with my favorite human. Could you be my forever home?”
Nora is residing at our Carson City campus located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City. We’re open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Like many of our senior pets, Nora has a $0 adoption fee and is of course spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and so ready to go home. Come meet her today!
