Beginner's Pickleball clinic at Carson City MAC Sept. 22
A beginner's Pickleball clinic will be held September 22 at the Carson City MAC, located at 1860 Russell Way.
Anyone who has ever been curious about what is called America's "fastest growing sport," should come and participate.
Equipment will be provided, and the only fee is the MAC drop in fee, $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and youth.
Pickleball is a sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It is played both indoors and outdoors on a badminton size court with an altered tennis net, and it is played with a paddle and a plastic ball.
Pickleball is also played every day at the MAC at 9 am, and people are encouraged to come and watch if they're not sure if they want to start playing themselves quite yet.
