Tattoos tell stories; and some people want those stories erased
Carson City – Data on the number of Americans who have tattoos is hazy, but a 2015 Harris poll found roughly three in ten in the US have at least one tattoo, an increase from roughly two in ten in 2008; and those with one tattoo had a 70 percent likelihood of having two or more.
Americans 27 to 37 years old are particularly given to tattoos according to the Harris poll with 47 percent of Millenials with some form of tattoo. Thirty-six percent of Generation X, or those between the ages of 38 and 53, have at least one tattoo, and 13 percent of Baby Boomers, or those between the ages of 54 and 72 years old, have a tattoo, and only 2 percent of those over 72 years of age have permanent body art.
But should someone want a tattoo removed in northern Nevada, there are three removal facilities in Reno, and none in Carson City, but inside the Millennium Medical and Spa of suites in Gardnerville, Trumbly Tattoo Removal uses an aesthetic laser to erase what Robert Trumbly calls,”bad stories.”
