Douglas investigators seek identity of suspects in Sunday stabbing, robbery at Tahoe casino
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying persons of interest in an early Sunday morning stabbing and robbery that happened at a south shore Lake Tahoe casino.
The incident happened at around 3:10 a.m. Douglas County Sheriff’s Office was called to Harrah’s located at 15 Hwy 50 in Stateline for a report of a stabbing and robbery, according to a Douglas County Sheriff's Office news release.
The incident occurred on the sidewalk near valet. Upon arrival to the scene a subject was located with a serious stab wound. The victim was transported to Renown and went into surgery. The medical condition of the victim is unknown at this time, according to a Douglas County sheriff's deputy.
Witnesses stated an altercation occurred between two males and the victim who fled the scene after the incident. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is asking for assistance in identifying two male suspects who are depicted in camera footage below prior to the altercation. Suspect 1 in the white t-shirt walks with a limp, the report states.
The witnesses in a previously released photo have been identified, according to an update Sunday night from DCSO.
