Carson City sheriff's deputies arrest man after finding him driving a stolen pickup
UPDATE: A high risk traffic stop at around 4 p.m. Wednesday led to the arrest of a 35-year-old man after he was seen driving a stolen pickup.
Nathan Conrad of Carson City was taken into custody and booked on a felony charge of possession of a stolen vehicle. Two others inside the silver Chevrolet truck, stolen out of San Mateo, Calif., were detained and later released, said Carson City Sheriff's Office Sgt. Scott McDaniel.
An deputy spotted the vehicle, followed it and made the traffic stop in the parking lot of a shopping center in the 400 block of East William Street.
Conrad was charged with felony motor vehicle grand larceny, possession of a stolen vehicle, both felonies, and misdemeanor driving without a valid license. Bail $40,192.
