Carson High Athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of Thomas Reymer as the new athletic director and teacher at Carson High School (CHS).
Mr. Reymer joins CHS and the Carson City School District from the Washoe County School District where he was the athletic director and a physical education (P.E.) teacher for Incline High School since 2015. He taught P.E. and health for Clark County School District from 2004-2015, before moving to northern Nevada.
Bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise, Reymer has an impressive background in both coaching and athletic administration, said Cody Farnworth, lead administrator over athletics and vice principal at Carson High.

As the new athletic director, Reymer will oversee all aspects of the school's athletic program as it aligns with the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA) requirements involving all three levels of freshmen, junior varsity and varsity teams at the school. From football to basketball, soccer to swimming, Reymer will strive to enhance athletes' experiences, emphasizing not only skill development but also character building both on and off the field.
