Annual Clothing Community Exchange returns Aug. 18-19
The Carson City Stake Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be hosting their annual community clothing exchange on Friday and Saturday, August 18-19, 2023, at the church building located at 411 N. Saliman Road, just south of Carson High School.
This free event provides an opportunity for community members of all ages to donate and obtain gently used clothing. Rebecka Croxall, President of the Carson City Stake Relief Society, says individuals will be able to “pick from a large selection of clothes for school, work, and many other occasions for your entire family.” The Relief Society is the philanthropic and educational women’s organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Its motto is “Charity Never Faileth,” and it is one of the oldest and largest women’s organizations in the world.
Donations of clean, gently used clothing (no undergarments please) will be accepted Friday, August 18, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at 411 N. Saliman Road.
Free clothing will be available at the same location on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
This is the 16th year the Carson City Stake Relief Society has hosted this free community clothing exchange.
