Carson City's Browsers Corner Book Store hosts back-to-school drive supporting CASA kids
Back-to-school season is upon us, and Browsers Corner Book Store, powered by Friends of the Carson City Library, is excited to make a difference in the lives of children in need.
The annual Back-to-School Drive is back, and this year, FOCCL is collaborating with the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program to support children receiving their invaluable services.
The Cause: Empowering CASA Kids
CASA plays a crucial role in the lives of children within the foster care system. Many of these young ones lack the support they deserve, making the start of the new school year even more challenging. FOCCL is determined to empower these children and help them succeed in their academic journey.
How You Can Help: Donate School Supplies
From July 25 through August 19, FOCCL is collecting school supplies for children of all ages. Every contribution matters, from backpacks and writing materials to art supplies and more. Please note that 3-ring binders and spiral notebooks are not needed at this time. Donations can be dropped off at Browsers Corner Book Store — located at 711 E Washington St. in Carson City.
Get Involved:
We invite all to join us in supporting CASA kids this back-to-school season. Let's make this school year a memorable one for CASA kids together! For more information, visit Friends of the Carson City Library online here.
