Carson City emergency crews respond to 2nd accident Thursday involving juvenile on bicycle
For the second time Thursday, Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called to a vehicle accident involving a juvenile on a bicycle, this time in the 3000 block of North Roop Street near the Quickstop.
The call came into dispatch just after 6:30 p.m. The juvenile was up and walking around with scrapes and scratches, according to first responders on scene.
Traffic is being diverted around the accident. Motorists can expect some delays.
Earlier Thursday, a 14-year-old juvenile was involved in a bicycle accident with a vehicle in the area of Saliman and Damon streets. The teen did not suffer serious injuries.
