Flood Advisory lifted, weather service says thunderstorms remain possible tonight
UPDATE 540PM: The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for North Central Douglas County until 6:45 p.m. Go here for the latest on the warning.
UPDATE 4:45PM: The Flood Advisory has been lifted. However, there is a chance for thunderstorms for Carson City, Carson Valley and Dayton areas through this evening, according to the National Weather Service in Reno.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for Eastern Carson City and Northwestern Lyon County until 5:30 p.m.
At 2:27 this afternoon Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause minor flooding and overflowing poor drainage areas may result in the advisory area.
Some locations that will experience flooding include Mound House, Carson City, Dayton and the junction of Highway 50 and Nevada Route 341, Dayton Valley Airpark and Highway 50 along the Carson City and Lyon County line.
