Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Miles
Happy Thursday, Carson City! You know what would make this upcoming holiday weekend the greatest yet? A new friend to bring home!
Say hello to Miles, Carson High School’s furriest 2022 alumni.
Miles is a six-year-old pup who came to Nevada Humane Society’s Carson City Shelter as a stray.
He was reported to be hanging out around Carson High School and we believe it was for one of two reasons: He was being fed snacks by high school students, or he was trying out for the track team! This pup loves to run and would do great with an owner that enjoys hiking or running and the great outdoors.
Miles can go home with older children over the age of 12 if he gets to meet them first. He can also go home with other dogs if proper introductions are done first — and we can help with that.
So, if you are looking for a furry friend that can keep up with your active lifestyle, come visit with Miles today! If you hit it off, you could be running into the sunset with your new furry soulmate by the end of the day.
Let's hear from Miles himself!
“Have I caught your eye? Good! My look is unique, and my personality is too! I'm playful and energetic — hence, I need an active, fun-loving adopter to take me home! I'd like to meet the entire family (including any doggies) before making a commitment to you, but ultimately, if you're ready for a new relationship in your life take me home today!”
You can learn more about Miles by heading to the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road or calling (775) 887-2171
