CARSON CITY — The Nevada Division of Tourism, also known as Travel Nevada, has released its 2018 Visitor’s Guide, available at visitors centers, airports, and hotels throughout the state. The days have been sunny and have me thinking of spring and flowers. In some areas the daffodils are poking up already. I miss color at this time of year. Thousands took to the streets for the one-year anniversary of the Women’s March on Saturday in downtown Reno. The event was part of a worldwide effort. Hundreds of rallies were held in Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Dallas and even overseas.
