Carson City emergency crews respond to rollover at South Curry near railroad museum
Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Monday afternoon to a single vehicle rollover on South Curry behind the railroad museum.
The call came into dispatch at around 12:45 p.m. regarding a white pickup that overturned.
Traffic is being re-directed around the crash. Motorists can expect delays on south Curry Street and should avoid the area. Motorists are being stopped at Rhodes and Curry.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. The driver was taken to the hospital. A power pole was also damaged.
At around the same time, dispatch also was alerted to a hit and run driver who allegedly hit several cars in the area of Curry Street and then Fairview Drive. Deputies were searching for the suspect. It is unknown if these two incidents are related.
