Carson City sheriff's deputies log several misdemeanor-related arrests over weekend

The following misdemeanor arrests were made by Carson City sheriff's deputies from Friday, June 13, 2014 to Monday morning, June 16.
A 50-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 8:26 a.m. in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant for petit larceny issued June 5, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.

— A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 3 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Carson Street on two misdemeanor charges of petit larceny. The man allegedly stole bottles of alcohol, valued at $160, at a grocery store over a course of two days, Thursday and Friday. Bail: $774.

Saturday, June 14
— A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 2:01 a.m. in the 400 block of South Curry Street. He faces four misdemeanor charges including suspicion of DUI, (second in seven years) possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and indecent conduct.

According to the arrest report officers were dispatched to the area on a report of a intoxicated driver. The arresting officer observed the man step out of the vehicle and urinate in the parking lot, swaying as he was urinating.
The deputy asked the man to perform a series of field sobriety tests, which he refused to participate. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI and taken to jail. In the inventory of the vehicle officers found marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bail: $4,863.

— A 24-year-old woman was arrested Saturday, June 14, 12:19 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Edmonds on a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued Feb. 13, 2014 out of East Fork Township. According to the arrest report officers were called to a casino after a report that a woman was concealing something under her clothing. Inside the bathroom officers later found a black airsoft gun, the arrest report states. Bail: $1,000.

— A 49-year-old man was arrested Saturday, June 14, 5:24 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Saliman Road on a misdemeanor warrant charge of domestic battery. The warrant was issued Oct. 2, 2013 out of Carson City Justice Court. $3,000.

Sunday, June 15
— A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 12:10 a.m. in the parking lot of Curry and Proctor streets on misdemeanor charges of obstructing and violation of a suspended sentence. According to the arrest report, officers responded to the area after a report of a woman screaming and a man dragging the woman. Officers later located the man who took off, jumped over a fence and tried to hide. The man at first resisted arrest and was warned he would be tased. The man complied and was taken to jail. Bail: $1,412.

— A 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Sunday, 10:49 a.m. at a Granite Way address on a misdemeanor warrant, failure to appear out of East Fork Township Court. Bail: $1,136.

— A 55-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 10:56 a.m. in the 3100 block of Imperial Way on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing. Bail: $245.

— A 43-year-old Carson City man was arrested at midnight June 15, at Imperial and Granite Way on four misdemeanor charges, including a warrant out of Reno Justice Court, driving without a driver's license, no proof of insurance and failure to obey a traffic control device. $1,016.

— A 19-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested Sunday, 6:41 p.m. in the 900 block of Woodside Drive on a misdemeanor warrant for theft out of Douglas County and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 9:21 p.m. in the 1200 block of Janas Way on suspicion of domestic battery. According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the residence. The man admitted he grabbed a woman by her sweatshirt collar and drug her into the bathroom area during an argument. Bail: $3,137.

— A Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 8:21 p.m. on a charge of violation of bail conditions. Officers were called because of a domestic dispute between the man and his girlfriend. Officers found the man who was drinking a fifth of vodka in the garage. The man is on Alternative Sentencing with a "no alcohol" clause. Bail: $3,000.

Monday, June 16
— A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:17 a.m. in the 100 block of Koontz Lane on suspicion of domestic battery. Officers arrived at the residence after dispatch reported an argument happening at the residence. Deputies determined the man was the primary aggressor and blew a preliminary breath test of .210. Bail: $3,137.

Those arrested on criminal charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
