Carson City's Shoe Tree Brewing celebrates 6th anniversary Saturday
Shoe Tree Brewing, Carson City's renowned craft brewery known for its exceptional beers, is celebrating its 6th anniversary this year. There will be live music at 1 p.m. at their Carson City location this Saturday, June 17.
The brewery has not only achieved remarkable success but has also garnered numerous prestigious awards. In addition, Shoe Tree Brewing expanded its operations to Minden in 2021.
Founded in 2017, Shoe Tree Brewing quickly gained recognition for its commitment to quality and passion for brewing. The founders, Jeff and Paul Young, envisioned a brewery that would produce unique and memorable beers, and their dedication has paid off over the past six years.

— 5 Great American Beer Festival medals, the GABF is consistently the world's largest beer competition.
— 9 medals at the New York International Beer Competition and was Named Nevada's brewery of the year there in 2021.
— 16 at the US Open Beer Championship and was named the 2nd best brewery in the country in 2022.
— Most recently won a bronze at the world's most prestigious beer competition - World Beer Cup.
— They also have won dozens more awards from other smaller competitions and the Best of Carson City.
One of the defining aspects of Shoe Tree Brewing's success has been its community involvement. They started what they call a Helping Handle, where they raise money for local charities, families, and community programs.
Their latest Helping Handle will be released at their Anniversary Party. "Mr. Whitmore" a Hazy DIPA will raise money for CVMS culinary program and hopes to aid them in the purchase of much-needed new equipment.
