112th Carson Valley Days comes to Douglas County this weekend
The 112th annual Carson Valley Days is happening this weekend in Douglas County, from Friday June 9 through Sunday June 12.
This year’s theme is “Happiest Valley on Earth.”
For more than a century, thousands of locals and visitors alike descend upon Gardnerville for a weekend-long lineup of carnival midway games, rides, free live music, a themed parade, craft and food vendors, children’s games, horseshoe tournaments and more.
Carnival resale tickets can be purchased at three locations: Accolades Trophies, Raley’s and Nevada State Bank. Tickets are good for either Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
The event is hosted by the Carson Valley Active 20-30 Club.
Due to the high volume of traffic within the Minden/Gardnerville town areas please use extra precautions when traveling through the towns. If you need to travel across town prior to the parade, please plan ahead.
As a reminder, US Highway 395 from Buckeye Road to Waterloo Lane will be closed on Saturday, June 11th, 2022 from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for the Carson Valley Days Parade. There will be an alternate route clearly marked for motor vehicles passing through south and northbound US Highway 395.
All surface streets between Buckeye Road and Waterloo lane will have closed access to US Highway 395. No vehicles will be allowed to park along the parade route.
