Carson Lanes Family Fun Center is on the market following owner's passing from COVID-19

Earlier this year, the owner of the Carson Lanes Family Fun Center, Eugene Burger, passed away from COVID-19. The facility was left to his family, who have decided to sell the property.

Some Carson City residents are concerned that the Carson Lanes Family Fun Center has been sold to a buyer who has plans to demolish the entire facility and build a casino, and even started a petition to try and halt the sale.

However, according to realtor Brad Bonkowski, who along with partner Andie Wilson is handling the sale through NAI Alliance, the property is still available and there are no plans for the property at this time.

“If and when a buyer is found, I’m sure that may change,” added Bonkowski.

The property is listed through NAI Alliance for $7.9 million, which includes 45,909 square feet on 3.57 acres, according to the listing.

Those who are against the potential sale for a casino commented that the facility “looks like good clean family fun” and that “kids need a place to be instead of getting into trouble,” according to the petition.

At the time of publication of this story, the listing is still active.
