Carson City area gaming revenue up 2.2 percent in April, up nearly 8.6 percent statewide
Casinos in Carson City and Douglas County including those in Gardnerville and Minden except for south shore Lake Tahoe, had total gaming revenue, also called "gaming win" of $11,849,332 for the month.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,128,480,917 for the month of April 2022. This amounts to an 8.57 percent increase compared to April 2021, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,039,358,922.
Elsewhere, casinos at south shore Lake Tahoe saw 15.02 percent decrease in gaming revenue, while North Lake Tahoe experienced a 5.77 percent decrease. Casino gaming revenue in Reno remained flat, and Sparks saw a decrease of 5.95 percent.
It was the Las Vegas strip that experienced the state's highest positive gaming generated numbers with casinos there up 22.78 percent.
