Carson City sheriff's detectives ask for public's help identifying catalytic converter thief
Carson City Sheriff's Office investigators are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect involved in the theft of a catalytic converter that happened at a South Carson Street casino earlier this month.
The theft happened on May 8. The suspect vehicle is a black 1990’s Honda Accord wagon that was last seen driving East on Koontz from South Carson Street. According to CCSO Detective Sam Hatley, cases of catalytic converter theft are on the rise due to increased metal prices.
