Carson City detectives look for suspect who attempted to cash fraudulent check
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division is asking for assistance in locating a suspect who attempted to cash a fraudulent check using fake identification.
On May 6, 2019 at around 12:17 p.m. the suspect entered the Bank of America in Carson City and attempted to cash a fraudulent check. The suspect used a false identification card. The suspect then fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival.
The suspect is described as a black male adult, with dark hair and dark eyes. The suspect is wearing sunglasses on his forehead and a short sleeve button up shirt. The suspect had a beard and mustache. The suspect appears to have scaring or pock marks on both cheeks on his face.
