Family program at Dayton State Park: Desert Adaptations
Why do rabbits have large ears? What animal can live without ever taking a drink of water? Get to know Nevada’s wildlife during this fun family program at Dayton State Park. Rangers will display pelts from wildlife living along the Carson River and go for a short walk to look for wildlife in the park.
WHEN: Saturday, May 7, 1:00 p.m.
WHERE: Dayton, Nevada, 12 miles east of Carson City on Highway 50. Meet at the Group Use
pavilion.
COST: The park entrance fee is $7 per vehicle with a $2 discount for Nevada residents. There is no additional charge for this program.
