Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Willow
Happy Thursday, Carson City! This week we’d like you to meet 7-year-old Willow, a sweet tortoiseshell that was just returned to the shelter due to unrealistic expectations.
Willow was part of an overwhelmed caregiver situation in Carson City earlier this year and has special dietary needs because of chronic enteritis. Certain kinds of foods give Willow tummy troubles, so consistent vet visits and a healthy diet will be key.
Willow is a cutie-patootie, has occasional tortitude, and loves people. All in all, if you’re looking for a cat with brains and beauty, she just might be the one.
We sat down for an exclusive interview with Willow. This is what she had to meow:
“I consider myself to be sweet, a cuddle bug with a penchant for naps in the sun. Don't worry, you can show me off to all your friends when they come to visit us! I love meeting new people and am great at turning on the charm. Come see for yourself!”
Willow costs $25 to adopt, which is a small price to pay for a lifetime of love. Don’t delay, come to visit her at the Carson Shelter today.
You can meet Willow by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to find out more.
