March gaming revenue up in Carson City, statewide
Casinos in Carson City and Carson Valley areas including Minden and Gardnerville, saw gaming revenue, known as “gaming win” of $8,334,463 for the month or a 1.47 percent increase.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $991,023,123 for the month of March 2017. This amounts to a 7.45 percent increase compared to March 2016, when licensees reported a gaming win of $922,329,184.
For the fiscal year (July 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017), gaming win has increased 3.23 percent.
Elsewhere, casinos at Stateline, on the south shore of Lake Tahoe saw a 2.3 percent decrease, North Shore Lake Tahoe a 7.35 percent increase. Reno and Sparks also saw increases of 8.08 percent and 2.06 percent respectively.
