Carson City couple accused of counterfeiting indicted by federal authorities
A Carson City couple have been booked on felony indictment warrants through the U.S. District Attorney’s Office, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
Paul Kenneth Matheson and Melanie Lynn Taylor, both 55, were booked Friday, April 21, on the federal warrants, dated March 29, 2017, alleging conspiracy to make and pass counterfeit money, making counterfeit money and passing counterfeit money.
Taylor also faces a charge of possession of counterfeit money. Both are being held without bail in lieu of a hearing.
