Two Care Flight ambulances sent to Dayton crash at Highway 50 and Six Mile Canyon Road
UPDATE 10:30AM: From Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Duncan Dauber: Two people involved in a crash at Highway 50 and Six Mile Canyon Road near Dayton this morning were flown by Care Flight and, at this time, have non-life threatening injuries.
The injured motorists are an adult female from Silver Springs driving a red Ford Explorer and an adult male, also from Silver Springs, driving silver Ford F150 truck.
Two helicopters landed at Fort Churchill Road to take the two injured motorists to Renown Medical Center in Reno.

UPDATE: At least two people were flown by two Care Flight helicopters this morning following a vehicle crash at Highway 50 and Six Mile Canyon near Dayton.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is on scene and is handling the investigation.
The vehicles involved are a red Ford Explorer and a gold-colored truck. We will update as more information becomes available.

Lyon County emergency crews, Care Flight and the Nevada Highway Patrol have responded to a crash near Dayton Thursday morning at Highway 50 and Six Mile Canyon Road.
According to emergency dispatch crash was head-on in the eastbound lane and was reported just before 9 a.m. Motorists are advised to stay out of the area as two Care Flight air ambulances were to land near the crash to transport the victims.
