Carson City deputies make arrests for battery, probation violation and warrants
A 25-year-old man was arrested Wednesday for suspicion of misdemeanor battery, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
At around 3 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of North Roop Street, the Carson City Library, for a battery in progress. Deputies arrived and placed both men involved in handcuffs.
Deputies spoke with the reporting party who advised they saw part of the fight but not the entire incident, the arrest report states. Deputies had dealt with the suspect three times earlier that day for various reasons, causing multiple issues.
The suspect and the other man were interviewed and the suspect was taken into custody for suspicion of battery. Bail: $1,137.
In other arrests:
— A 26-year-old man, Cristian Jose Morales, was booked into jail Wednesday for a parole and probation violation hold through the Department of Parole and Probation. He was also booked for a misdemeanor violation of bail conditions warrant.
— A 35-year-old Reno woman was booked Wednesday into Carson City Jail for a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant. Bail: $1,000.
