Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Dana
Happy Wednesday, Carson City! Are you feeling a little lonely today? Let me introduce you to Dana.
Dana is a four-year-old pup with a ton of personality who is currently available for adoption at Nevada Humane Society’s Carson City Shelter.
Dana came to NHS due to her owner’s health, and them no longer having the resources to care for her. She is a bit more nervous and reserved at first and takes a little bit longer when gaining her trust. Once she trusts you, however, she is full of personality and quite the companion!
Dana would do best in a home with older kids over the age of 10 and can go home with other dogs if they can get acquainted first. Slow, supervised introductions to cats living in the home are suggested. If you are looking for a dog that would make a great hiking buddy, camping companion, or movie watching bestie, and you are willing to earn her trust, then come meet with Dana today.
Let's hear from Dana herself.
“Although I may seem a bit nervous to meet you, it is only because I want to make sure that we are going to be 'forever friends' before I give you all of my love. Once I know I can trust my person, I will let my personality shine bright. If you are someone with a bit more understanding and are willing to give me a bit more time to open up, I would love to be your new best friend. Let's start our journey together! Come meet me today.”
You can meet Dana by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to find out more!
