Pond monster Carson Cassie resurfaces for Spring

Carson Cassie, the mysterious pond monster that appeared multiple times last year in the retention pond located at the corner of Roop Street and Little Lane, has returned to welcome Spring in 2018.
She was joined in the pond this week by the dorsal fin of a shark, which she appears to be keeping a sharp eye on.
Cassie, her companion Carl, and three little monsters appeared in growing numbers over the course of weeks last winter until the appearance of the shark fin.
Eventually, the monsters' numbers gradually shrank until the pond was dry.
Those responsible for placing Cassie and her companions in the pond remain anonymous and, therefore, a mystery.
