Woman arrested after shooting BB gun at North Carson Street 7-Eleven
A woman was taken into custody Sunday afternoon on at least one charge of probation violation after she was seen shooting at the 7-Eleven building at College Parkway and Carson Street. The gun turned out to be a BB gun.
Witnesses called 911 after 3 p.m. reporting a woman with a weapon shooting at the 7-Eleven building. The suspect fled in a vehicle when Carson City sheriff's deputies arrived. Officers found and detained the woman a few hundred yards away at the intersection of College Parkway and Imperial. The gun that scared customers who thought it was real and she was shooting at them turned out to be a BB gun. The female suspect was on Alternative Sentencing for previous charges and arrested based on violation of conditions, according to officers on scene.
It is unknown what her reason was for shooting at 7-Eleven. No one was hurt in the incident.
