Carson City emergency crews called to 3 vehicle crash on East William Street
Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Thursday afternoon to a crash involving three vehicles in the 2100 block of East William Street.
The call came into dispatch at 4 p.m. and involves three vehicles, one in which there was airbag deployment. The accident is in both the eastbound and westbound lanes. Some of the occupants have declined medical transport. One person suffered injuries and was to be taken to the hospital, according to dispatch.
Arriving first responders say the vehicles have major to moderate damage. Each of the vehicles involved will be towed due to damage.
Traffic is being re-directed around the crash. Motorists can expect delays.
Meanwhile, Carson City emergency crews were sent at 4:19 to a two vehicle accident in the 2500 block of Panamint Road near Sherman Lane. One person was reportedly injured.
